What the site records
There are no accounts and no sign-up forms. We don’t learn your name or email address unless you write to us, and then we use your message only to answer it.
We may use privacy-focused analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. That kind of tool records the page, the site that sent you, your browser type and a rough country, and it isn’t used to identify you.
Retailer cookies
When you follow a link to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer may set cookies so it can credit a purchase to us. Those cookies fall under the retailer’s privacy policy, not ours. Retailers don’t send us your personal or payment details.
The interactive bits
The two-question quiz, the running-cost calculator, the brush-head finder, the model-number search, the price-band tabs, the two-minute timer and the head-replacement date all run in your browser. Nothing you tap or type is sent to us, and nothing is saved between visits, so closing the tab clears it.
Videos
If a page shows a YouTube video, nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, YouTube’s privacy policy applies to that video.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will keep working.
